Local History
From time to time it is intended to create a series of local history pages, drawing on the considerable body of information provided by other villagers, primarily those involved in the local history group, sadly now not operating. Pages so created will appear below this heading accessible on the left side.
Eve Dawson of the local history group wrote an article on the difficulty of locating the north manor in 1989. The page on the left titled north manor summarises her article which is available in the centre for Oxfordshire Studies in the Westgate Centre Oxford.
